Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on April 17, 2020, from Cedar Springs Transmission, LLC (Permittee) regarding the Cedar Springs Wind Project in Converse County Wyoming. The Permittee is requesting a change in scope, peak workforce, and daily workforce schedule for the captioned permit. The change in scope is a reduction of 16 turbines and an increase in turbine output from 2.52 to 2.82. The capacity of the facility remains unchanged at 400 MW. The workforce has increased; however, the increase is within 15% of the maximum peak. The permittee also requests a change in daily work schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday to work crews working 24 hours a day. The information submitted included an explanation for this request and an updated labor force projection for the project. The Permittee is seeking approval of amendment requested for this project.
Pursuant to Permit Condition #11, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 18-05. It is the Director’s intention to authorize the change on or about May 15, 2020.
