Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality PUBLIC NOTICE: In accordance with Chapter 6, Section 2(m) of the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations, notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality, proposes to approve a request by Mullinax Inc. to modify the Pine Ridge Pit by increasing the size of the pit from 58.17 acres to 417.87 acres. The Pine Ridge Pit will include sand and gravel crushing, screening, exposed acreage, stockpiling and haul activity located in the E½SE¼ of Section 10, SW¼SE¼ and S½NE¼ of Section 11, NW¼ and N½SW¼ of Section 14, NE¼SE¼ and E½NE¼ of Section 15, T43N, R80W, approximately seven (7) miles west of Sussex, in Johnson County, Wyoming. The applicant estimates an annual production rate of 214,669 tons. No concrete batch plants or hot mix asphalt plants are planned for this site.
