Land Quality Advisory Board Meeting - December 12, 2019

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Land Quality Division (LQD), will hold an Advisory Board (AB) Meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. (MST), on December 12, 2019. The meeting will be held via conference call. The major item of discussion will be a presentation of proposed revisions to DEQ’s Rules of Practice and Procedure, Chapter 3 – Rulemaking. The proposed revisions incorporate changes to the Wyoming Environmental Quality Act resulting from passage of House Enrolled Act 33 during the 2019 Legislative Session. At the conclusion of the presentation, DEQ will request that the LQD AB consider the proposed revisions and provide advice for consideration to the Environmental Quality Council.

An electronic copy of the proposed rule changes and other information regarding the meeting will be posted on the LQD’s webpage at http://deq.wyoming.gov/lqd/resources/proposed-rules-regs on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the December 12, 2019 meeting and provide comments on the proposed rules in person or comments may be provided via the DEQ’s online public comment system at http://lq.wyomingdeq.commentinput.com. Written comments on the proposed rule changes may be directed to Colin McKee at 200 W. 17th St., Cheyenne, WY 82002 or faxed to (307) 635-1784. Written comments must be received no later than the close of business on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
