Water and Waste Advisory Board Meeting

The Wyoming Water and Waste Advisory Board (WWAB) will meet on October 17, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in the main conference room at the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Building, 2211 King Boulevard in Casper, Wyoming. The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed rules presented to the WWAB for its consideration.

Written and oral comments received beginning on September 6, 2019 and prior to the adjournment of the October 17, 2019 WWAB meeting will be considered. The Water Quality Division requests submittal of written and electronic comments by 5:00 p.m. (MST) on October 7, 2019 to ensure inclusion in the analysis of comments presentations to the WWAB.

  • Rulemaking: WQRR Chapter 12
    • Summary: Permitting requirements for new public water supply wells that propose to use acidization prior to well completion.

    • Summary: Update the reporting requirements related to financial assurance for Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities (COWDFs) and create a new chapter to streamline and clarify the various design, construction, operation, monitoring, and annual reporting requirements for COWDFs.
