Upcoming Stakeholder Outreach Regarding Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities Rulemaking

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division (WDEQ/WQD) is initiating an outreach comment period related to the possible drafting of a new chapter of the Water Quality Rules and Regulations that will be applicable to Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities (COWDFs).

Written and electronic comments on the topics WDEQ/WQD is considering, as well as feedback on any other aspects of WDEQ/WQD regulations relating to COWDFs, may be submitted beginning January 22, 2019 and ending at 5:00 p.m. (MST) on February 25, 2019.
