Ozone Contingency Plan Form Made Available to the Public

During the 2019 Winter Ozone Season (January through March), the Wyoming Air
Quality Division (AQD) will provide the community in the Upper Green River Basin with
Ozone Action Day notifications when they are issued. The AQD will issue an Ozone
Action Day one day in advance when forecast weather conditions appear favorable for
the formation of elevated ozone the following day.  Ozone Contingency Plans (OCPs)
should be implemented upon one-day notice and everyone is encouraged to voluntarily
reduce emissions.

The AQD encourages any member of the public in the Upper Green River Basin
complete an OCP by filling out the form attached below. The form may also be found
on http://deq.wyoming.gov/aqd/winter-ozone/resources/contingency-plans/. Instructions
for submitting a completed Public and Small Business OCP are included on the bottom of the form.

Please remember that current information on ozone levels at the AQD’s monitoring
stations can be found at http://www.wyvisnet.com.
