Public Notice - Buffalo Valley Water District in Moran, Wyoming - DWSRF Application - Water Distribution Piping Replacement

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING 

The Buffalo Valley Water District in Moran Wyoming will conduct a public meeting at 6pm on August 8, 2018 at 25695 Buffalo Run, Moran Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the proposed water distribution piping replacement project. The work intends to replace and abandon 40 year old galvanized distribution piping with municipal grade PVC piping.

At the meeting, the District will present the preliminary plans, discuss the estimated costs and describe funding for the improvements.  A preliminary improvements plan and cost estimates can also be reviewed at Rendezvous Engineering, 25 South Gros Ventre Str; Jackson, Wy: attention Bob Ablondi (307-733-5252).

Based on current cost estimates, the District plans to borrow $134,025 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments.  Annual assessments currently in place for the District from recently retired loans will pay for the new loan costs.  The loan terms will be 2.5% APR with a 20-year term and a ½ % origination fee.
