Draft Permit – UIC # 17-015 - The UIC Program is proposing to issue permit 17-015 for the Piney Creek Land Company, Shores at Lake Desmet septic system.  The permit proposes to authorize the construction and operation of a proposed septic system that discharges 4,914 gallons per day (gpd) average, and 8,190 gpd maximum of primary treated domestic wastewater into the leach field.  Wastewater will be injected into the quaternary alluvial aquifer via septic tanks and a leach field.  Groundwater within the project area is classified as Class I by use according to Chapter 8 of the Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations.  This classification was made because the groundwater in this formation is being withdrawn for domestic use at nearby points of withdrawal.
