Through the authority vested in the
Governor by the Environmental Quality Act, Wyoming Statute (W.S.) §
35-11-1207(a) and § 35-11-1302(b), the Abandoned Mine Reclamation Program has
received approval to proceed with rulemaking and proposes to revise the
following chapters of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality,
Abandoned Mine Reclamation Program: Chapter 1, Authorities, Definitions, and
General Provisions; and Chapter 7, Mine Subsidence Insurance Program. The
proposed revisions incorporate by reference the Wyoming Department of
Administration and Information, Director’s Office, Chapter 2, Uniform
Procedures, Fees, Costs, and Charges for Inspection, Copying, and Producing
Public Records, as required by W.S. 16-3-103(j)(ii). The proposed revisions
meet minimum substantive state statutory requirements in accordance with W.S. §
16-3-103(a)(i)(G). The Department has evaluated the proposed revisions in
accordance with W.S. § 9-5-304, and interested persons may inspect a copy of
that evaluation and the proposed rule package at the following address:
