Notice of Land Quality Advisory Board Meeting - March 28, 2018

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Land Quality Division (LQD), will hold an Advisory Board (AB) Meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m., on March 28, 2018.  Interested parties may attend the meeting at the following locations:  200 W. 17th St., Room 211, Cheyenne, WY; the Presentation Hall, Room 120, Main Campus Building, Gillette College, 300 W. Sinclair, Gillette, WY; or Teton County Administration Building, BCC Chambers, 200 S. Willow St., Jackson, WY .  The major item of discussion will be proposed revisions to the financial assurance regulations contained in Coal Chapters 11 (Self-bonding) and 20 (Letters of Credit) and Noncoal Chapters 6 (Self-bonding) and 12 (Letters of Credit).

The LQD will request that the AB vote on whether the proposed revisions to the above listed chapters should proceed to the Environmental Quality Council (EQC) for formal rulemaking.  Individuals with questions regarding the meeting may be directed to Craig Hults at (307) 777-7066 or by e-mail at
