Draft Permit – UIC # 17-350 – Pahaska Teepee Resort

Draft Permit – UIC # 17-350 - The UIC Program is proposing to issue a permit renewal (17-350) for the Pahaska Company, owner of the Pahaska Teepee Resort septic system.  This permit proposes to re-authorize a maximum permitted injection rate of 12,710 gallons per day (gpd) and an average permitted injection rate of 7,626 gpd.  The waste consists of secondarily treated domestic sewage from the Pahaska Teepee Resort.  Discharge will be injected into the North Fork, Shoshone River Alluvium via a lagoon/leachfield system.  Groundwater within the project area is classified as Class I by use according to Chapter 8 of the Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations.  This classification is made because the groundwater in this formation is being withdrawn for domestic use at nearby points of withdrawal.

The permit applicant is Mr. Robert Coe, 183 North Fork Hwy., Cody, WY 82414.  This facility is located in the SE¼SE¼, Section 3, Township 52 North, Range 109 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Park County.  The public is invited to comment on this draft permit until February 9, 2018.
