Public Notice – Town of Pavillion – DWSRF Application – Meter Replacement Project

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Town of Pavillion, Fremont County, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:30 p.m., local time, on January 8, 2018, in the Pavillion Town Hall, 203 N Main St Pavillion, WY 82523. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project. 

To Replace All Existing Water Meters With New Remote Read, Leak Detection, Water Meters 

At the meeting, the Town of Pavillion will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. 

A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Pavillion Town Hall. Contact Town of Pavillion at 307-856-2154. 

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Pavillion plans to borrow $215,000.00 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. The Town is applying for Principal Debt Forgiveness and if approved, no rate increase would be required to repay the loan. If debt forgiveness is not awarded, it may be necessary to increase user fees to pay back the loan, which is estimated to be approximately $5.00 per customer.  If the project continues as a qualified green project the Loan terms will be 0% but are expected to be not more than 2.5% interest rate and 20 years.
