Oilfield Waste Disposal Pond Study - Final Reports Released

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality - Air Quality Division is releasing its final reports regarding the Oilfield Waste Disposal Pond Study.  The Pond Study began in the Upper Green River Basin (UGRB) in 2015 as an initiative for studying emissions from oilfield waste disposal ponds and, consequentially, for developing a tool to estimate air emissions from pond water content.  These final reports cover data collected during four field campaigns (2015-2017), as well as the developmental status of the estimation tool.
