In accordance with W.S. 9-2-1030, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Solid & Hazardous Waste Division, Landfill Remediation Program (LRP), hereby provides notice that it will have a landfill remediation scoping project going out for professional services consultant selection in approximately November 2017. The project will involve (1) work to assess the priority for remediation of selected landfills and (2) work to evaluate selected high priority landfills and refine clean-up cost estimates at those sites.  The LRP will send out a request for statements of interest to all firms on the LRP list of prequalified consultants when it initiates selection of a consultant for this project.  Only prequalified consultants will be allowed to submit statements of interest.

In accordance with W.S. 9-2-1030, the LRP also hereby provides notice that prequalification for professional engineering services is ongoing for LRP projects. LRP projects address contamination caused by landfills.  In general, services for LRP projects involve investigation of sites, design of remedial alternative(s), construction management, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning.  On-site personnel must have 40-hour HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher course.  Minimum insurance includes $500,000 errors & omissions and $1 million general liability.  To be considered for prequalification, a firm must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).  The submittal package and instructions can be found at by clicking on “Landfill Remediation Program” and “Prequalification Information” under the “Resources” heading.  SOQs can be submitted at any time.
