Draft Permit – UIC # 16-196 – Hilltop Trailer Park

Draft Permit – UIC # 16-196 - The UIC Program is proposing to issue permit 16-196 for Hilltop Trailer Park.  This permit proposes to authorize an average of 2,730 gallons per day (gpd) and a maximum of 4,550 gpd.  The waste consists of primary treated domestic sewage from a thirteen (13) unit mobile home park.  Discharge will be injected into an alluvial aquifer via one (1) existing septic tank and leach field.  Groundwater within the project area is classified as Class I by use according to Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Chapter 8.  This classification is made because the groundwater in this formation is being withdrawn by two (2) public supply use and twenty-two (22) domestic use wells permitted through the Wyoming State Engineer’s Office located within the area of review for this facility.  This classification is made because the groundwater in this formation is being withdrawn for domestic use at nearby points of withdrawal.

The permit applicant is Mr. Kenneth R. and Ms. Londa R. Hinckley, PO Box 290, Douglas, WY 82633.  This facility is located in the NE¼NE¼, Section 25, Township 32 North, Range 71 West, of the 6th Principal Meridian, Converse County.  The public is invited to comment on this draft permit until August 24, 2017.
