PUBLIC NOTICE: Draft Final Remedial Action Plan, Cheyenne 2 Project

The Storage Tank Program (STP) of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) is proposing remedial actions for three petroleum-impacted sites in and near Cheyenne, Wyoming.  The WDEQ/STP is authorized to remediate these sites by Article 14 of the Wyoming Environmental Quality Act.

A Draft Final Cheyenne 2 STP Remediation Project Remedial Action Plan, describing the project and proposed actions, is available for review.   To review this document, contact the STP Project Manager. 

At both 401 West 16th Street (#0-005047) and 8020 Campstool Road (#0-005135) the proposed remedial method is monitored natural attenuation. At 4505 Ridge Road (#0-000038), the proposed remedial method is an enhanced bioremediation injection program. Operation of these methods will continue until remediation is complete.  The remediation period is estimated to continue for one to ten years.
