LIMITED ACT VOUCHERS FOR NATIONAL TESTING

Complete Form by March 15, 2021

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is accepting applications for ACT National Testing in June and July 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WDE is offering 357 ACT Vouchers based on need, for those students who may have difficulty testing during the spring state dates, which are listed below. Any student who can attend in-person testing this spring should do so and should not be submitted for a voucher.

This offer is a first-come, first-serve basis, so be cautious of entering students who do not need this opportunity. Priority will be given to students in remote settings. Reminder - for national testing dates, students will be required to test at an approved national testing site, which can be found using the ACT Test Center Locator. Applications for individual students must be submitted using the 2021 ACT Voucher Form by March 15, 2021.

UPDATE: NAEP 2021 SCHOOL SURVEY

February 26, 2021

In support of the recent Supporting the Reopening and Continuing Operation of Schools and Early Childhood Education Providers Executive Order, the National Center for Education Statistics) will collect data on the status of in-person learning. Wyoming will participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) 2021 School Survey.

The goal of the survey is to provide evidence-based guidance to inform national and state-level decision makers responsible for policy and resources needed to reopen schools for in-person learning. Note that this study does not require student participation and involves the same schools selected for the postponed NAEP 2021 assessment. Further information was emailed directly to those involved.

For more information, contact Will Donkersgoed, Wyoming’s NAEP State Coordinator, at (307) 777-5133 or william.donkersgoed@wyo.gov.
