The last ACCESS for ELLs Assessment training for the 2019-20 school year is set for January 16 in Lusk. This workshop will teach participants how to facilitate overall test administration, prepare students for testing, and ensure students have access to their identified accommodation(s).

WIDA PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD FOR PROPOSED 2020 ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS
WIDA requests public input on the Proposed 2020 English Language Development Standards (ELD). The WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards represent the social, instructional, and academic languages students use to engage with peers, educators, and the curriculum in schools. The ELD Standards highlight the language needed to meet academic expectations as described in the Wyoming Content and Performance Standards. The ELD Standards serve as a resource for planning and implementing language instruction and assessment for multilingual learners as they learn academic content.
The purpose of the survey is to collect educator input prior to WIDA transitioning to the 2020 ELD Edition. The review process requires four steps: watch the tutorial, read the introduction, review one draft that best matches your expertise and note how much time you spend on it, and complete the survey. The survey closes January 20.
