ESSA REPORT CARD FEEDBACK REQUESTED

Reviewing Image

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) to gather feedback on the state report card in order to make improvements. A survey is available online through April 7, 2019. The report card was published by the WDE at wyomingmeasuresup.com. It provides information at the state, district, and school level. The feedback collected through this survey will be used to consider changes and improvements to the report card.

WY-TOPP ROSTERING FOR HOME-SCHOOL STUDENTS NOT SERVED BY WYOMING SCHOOL DISTRICTS

ONLINE TEST

Any home-school student who receives services or classes at a district school should already be a part of the nightly upload as a primary enrolled student with the home-school indicator. In order to identify home-school students not enrolled within your student informational system, theWDE must collect information to associate them with a school in TIDE. The WDE687 collection will be used to collect information on home-school students not served by any Wyoming school district. This collection will open on April 8, one week prior to the testing window. Districts should submit rosters a minimum of two days prior to your first test day.

The collection will be submitted through the DCS (Data Collection Suite). The WDE687 Certify role will need to be assigned to the WyEd User account of the person submitting the roster. To access the data collection form, guidebook, and error report go to the Forms Inventory Page and click on the arrow to the left of the WDE687 and then the Documents tab.

For assistance with the WDE687, contact Brian Wuerth at 307-777-6748 or brian.wuerth@wyo.gov.
