WY-TOPP AND WY-ALT TIDE PORTAL IS NOW OPEN

list

The Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) is now open for WY-TOPP and WY-ALT User and Student uploading. District Test Coordinators (DTC) now have access to add Building Coordinators (BC) to the TIDE system. BCs may add Test Administrators (TA) and Proctors to the system.

For directions on how to add USERS and STUDENTS, follow this link to the TIDE user guide. Here is a document that outlines the access different USER roles have in TIDE.

Follow this link to the WY-TOPP Test Administration Manual for Interim and Modular Assessments.

STUDENT UPLOAD INTO TIDE

Student at Computer

Districts have the option to upload their student information using the TIDE Student Import Layout (template), found on the AIR Wyoming Assessment Portal at wyoassessment.org. Districts also have the option to have WDE upload district student information using the October 2nd WDE 684 data file snapshot. With this option, please note the student information will not be uploaded and available until after October 17th. This will be the only time the state will upload information per the request of the district, so as to not overwrite any student information. Throughout the school year, districts will be able to edit and upload students into the TIDE system.

Please be sure your upload includes ALL of your district's students, including your WY-ALT students. Anytime your district re-uploads throughout the school year, it will overwrite your information.

*A survey will be emailed to District Test Coordinators today. District Test Coordinators must submit which option their district will use for the initial student upload by October 13th.

TEST ADMINISTRATOR CERTIFICATION

All educators must have access to TIDE in order to log in to the TA certification program. District Test Coordinators (DTC) have been given access to add USERS. DTCs can add Building Coordinators (BC) and Test Administrators (TA). BCs can also add TAs. Once you have been added as a USER, you will receive an email from AIR to reset your password. If you know you have been added, but you do not receive this email, please go to the TIDE login page and select "Forgot Your Password" or "Request a new one for this school year", and you should receive a new email.

All test administrators and proctors who plan to administer the WY-TOPP assessment during the 2017-2018 school year must complete the online Test Administrator Certification course. The course is approximately 30 minutes long and the Wyoming Department of Education will ask Building Coordinators to keep documentation of completion for their staff. Please follow this link to the AIR Wyoming Assessment Portal and you will find the Test Administration Certification button in the top row and second column.
