REMINDER: Register NOW for the 2017 National Assessment of Educational Progress(NAEP)!

naep

Instructions and registration materials were sent via regular mail this month to all elementary and middle schools selected for the 2017 NAEP, and also emailed to the schools’ principals.

Principals are asked to review the materials ASAP, designate a building coordinator and then ensure their school(s) register online for NAEP before Friday September, 23. So far, 60% of all principals have registered their schools.

Building coordinators will use a unique 8-digit school code highlighted in yellow in their school materials to create system-user accounts at www.MyNAEP.com. After creating a system password, coordinators then need to complete the initial Provide School Information (PSI) section on the website.

CLICK HERE to view a brief video on completing the PSI. Creating a user account and completing the PSI should only take about 5-10 minutes of staff time.

Specific question(s) about NAEP at your school? Please contact Will Donkersgoed at william.donkersgoed@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5133 for all NAEP-related questions and additional support. And please stay tuned to the WDE Assessment Newsletter for additional details re: 2017 NAEP in Wyoming.  Thank you!
