REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2017 NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS(NAEP)!

naep

Instructions and registration materials were sent via regular mail earlier this week to all elementary and middle schools selected for the 2017 NAEP, and also emailed to the schools’ principals.

Principals are asked to review the materials ASAP, designate a building coordinator and then ensure their school(s) register online for NAEP before Friday September, 23.

Building coordinators will use a unique 8-digit school code highlighted in yellow in their school materials to create system-user accounts at www.MyNAEP.com. After creating a system password, coordinators then need to complete the initial Provide School Information (PSI) section on the website.

CLICK HERE to view a brief video on completing the PSI. Creating a user account and completing the PSI should only take about 5-10 minutes of staff time.

Specific question(s) about NAEP at your school? Please contact Will Donkersgoed at william.donkersgoed@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5133 for all NAEP-related questions and additional support. And please stay tuned to the WDE Assessment Newsletter for additional details re: 2017 NAEP in Wyoming.  Thank you!

ACT RESOURCES NOW AVAILABLE

While the best preparation for all standardized tests, including the ACT, is good instruction aligned to the standards, some students benefit from additional practice with items and format of the test.  To that end, we are providing some additional information that you might find useful.

    WHAT'S NEW? PAWS Webpage

After receiving feedback about the usability and organization of the Released Test Questions (RTQs) on the PAWS webpage, work was done to increase the ease of access for these documents. RTQs can now be accessed by domain in each grade and subject area, as well as by the year they were released. Please visit the PAWS assessment page to access this information.
