NEW PAWS ONLINE REPORTING SYSTEM

WDE is pleased to offer a new online reporting system for PAWS results. While this reporting system does not provide official results for accountability, it will give schools a preliminary look at their performance along with detailed information to support school improvement. We are offering the following training sessions on the new ORS:

ACT ASPIRE SURVEY

This spring marked the first year of implementation for a new, online assessment (ACT Aspire) for 9th and 10th graders in Wyoming. We would like to thank you for your fantastic work; your concerted effort made this year's administration possible. In the spirit of continuous improvement, we would like to hear from you about this year's Aspire administration. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey so we can better serve you and others in the field. Thank you in advance for your time!

RELEASE OF ASSESSMENT RESULTS

Grades 3 - 8

PAWS/Wy-ALT

  • June 24 (Tentative): WDE will release PAWS/WY-ALT confidential student-level data, through Fusion, for the 2-week review period (preliminary).
  • Late June: Wy-ALT student score reports are mailed to schools.
  • Early-July: PAWS student score reports will be mailed to schools.
  • Mid-July: WDE will publicly release PAWS/Wy-ALT school-and district-level data.

Grades 9 - 11

ACT/ACT Aspire/WY-ALT

  • July 15 (Tentative): WDE will release ACT/ACT Aspire/Wy-ALT confidential student-level data, through Fusion, for the 2-week review period (preliminary).
  • Late-June: Wy-ALT score reports are delivered to schools.
  • Late-July: WDE will publicly release ACT/ACT Aspire/Wy-ALT school- and district-level data.

PREPARE FOR ONLINE REPORTS

The WDE expects to release assessment data for confidential district review beginning on June 24 (Grades 3-8) and July 15 (Grades 9-11). These reports contain confidential student information and will be posted to the 'Assessment Confidential' folder of the Data Reporting tab, in Wyoming Fusion. To find the reports after June 24 (or July 15):

  1.  Navigate to the Wyoming Education Fusion Portal and log in. 
  2. Click on the Data Reporting icon at the top of the screen. 
  3. Click on the Assessment Confidential link on the left. (Assessment Confidential is a secure site; only authorized users have access. Authorized users are Superintendents, Business Managers, WISE Coordinators, Assessment Coordinators and approved users with the Assessment Confidential role.)
