WBC to meet April 12-13 in Riverton
WBC will meet April 12-13, 2018 at the Holiday Inn in
Riverton. The meeting begins at 1:00 pm on April 12 and will adjourn by
10:30 am April 13. The Council will review the proposed FY2019 budget and
marketing plan and review funding proposals. For more

The terms for Tom Wright, producer of range cattle and
Lynn George, dairy member expire June 30, 2018. Tom is not eligible for
reappointment; Lynn is eligible for reappointment to a second term.

30. Governor Mead makes WBC appointments and appointees serve

BIWFD Re-Launch
“Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner” is a recognizable catch-phrase for the Beef Checkoff. As the campaign nears its third decade, AgDay national reporter Betsy Jibben shows what’s next for the campaign and how the Beef Checkoff Board and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, a contractor of CBB, is moving forward and carrying on the message. BIWFD AND SUPER BOWL CAMPAIGN
BIWFD
helped consumers #SettleTheBeef with Super Bowl activation. NCBA and
FRITO Lay Corn Chips(R) partnered for a Super Bowl themed activation with
Ibotta. To help keep beef top of mind in prep for tailgating
celebrations, the team executed a real-time social monitoring and response plan
to infuse BIWFD into conversations before and during the Super Bowl on
Twitter. Fans were prompted to #SettleTheBeef with a delicious video featuring
the Big Game Fritos Pie. In less than a week,
this social video created specifically for the campaign received over 4 million
video views. It prompted more than 101,000 social engagements and drove more
than 22,000 visits to the recipe on BIWFD.
