Dear tourism friend,

Now through May 11, we’re joining with states across the country to celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week and talk about why travel matters to everything from the economy and jobs to our health and families. This is a chance for us to talk about the growth we’ve achieved as an industry and the ways we can continue to move forward to tell the story of Wisconsin. We’ve compiled a toolkit of valuable resources as you tell your story to your local stakeholder, media and community.

The first phase of the strategic planning process is quickly coming to a close. We are grateful to everyone who shared their thoughts through the industry survey. A summary of the insights gathered through the survey can be viewed on our industry website. We would be very grateful if you could take a look and let us know what you think. Are we on the right track? Have we missed anything? Send your feedback to TouMediaRequests@travelwisconsin.com. We can’t thank you enough for participating in this important process. Your perspective is helping us chart the best course forward for Wisconsin tourism.

Summer Marketing Campaign

This summer, we’re giving visitors the inside scoop on the many fairs and festivals taking place during the season. Not only is there a fest for everything, there’s a fest for everyone and we’re letting audiences throughout the Midwest know with a TV commercial and online videos featuring Packers great, Donald Driver. We’ll also promote Wisconsin’s festivals through out-of-home, digital and radio ads, as well as social media and PR efforts. Learn more about the summer marketing campaign on our industry website.
