SECRETARY'S LETTER

Stephanie Klett

Dear Friends,

We’ve been showcasing Wisconsin Tourism all over the Midwest with TV guest interviews in Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Louis. In Chicago, we taped four segments on WGN-TV that will air throughout July and August and another segment on Fox 9-Minneapolis. Next up is St. Louis with Fox-2 News and Cardinals Radio Network, the largest radio affiliate network in Major League Baseball.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Trail just received another incredible accolade. It’s a finalist for a U.S. Travel Association ESTO Mercury Award in the public relations category. Earning a Mercury Award is the highest honor for state tourism marketing. We look forward to attending this year’s ESTO conference in Phoenix next month where the winners will be announced.

Congratulations to Jonathon Eckelberg who joined Destinations International’s “30 Under 30” Class of 2018. And we were thrilled to learn another Wisconsinite, Cameron Teske from the Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau, joined Jonathan in being recognized as the tourism industry’s next generation of leaders.

Cheers to a great summer!

They are the first city park in Prairie du Chien to incorporate the new technology, which allows the five historical sculptures to come alive and tell their story to visitors. More information on the Sculpture Park and other area attractions can be found at the Prairie du Chien Regional Tourism Center at 211 S. Main Street.
