Stephanie Klett

Hello Friends,

It was my privilege to join Julia Hertel from WACVB to present the Wisconsin Tourism Trailblazer Awards at this month’s Fall Tourism Conference. Congratulations to Visit Eau Claire and the Green Bay CVB for their rockin’ initiatives. There is fantastic and innovative marketing taking place all over the state that hit the mark in promoting Wisconsin as the place for fun in the Midwest.

A big shout out goes to the folks at the Oneida County Tourism Council. I presented a Destination Marketing grant at their office this month and it was the first time a JEM presentation concluded with confetti!  The JEM Grant program is a phenomenal way for destinations to bring big ideas to life. If you want to learn more, our grant coordinator Heidi Schultz is offering two webinars next month to answer your questions about the four grants programs and the online application process. More information on the dates and times are below.

It was a sincere honor to receive the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin “Friends” award at their annual fall meeting and awards luncheon.  Wisconsin is home to more than 500 courses and has hosted the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world.  We appreciate all our golf tourism partners and their work to raise the profile of Wisconsin golf on an international level.

Next week is Thanksgiving, which is a time to reflect on all that we are grateful for like the incredible state we live in.

Happy Thanksgiving!
