 Dear Friends,

Wisconsin’s annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee will be here before you know it! This is the 30th year of the state’s largest tourism networking and educational event, and it continues to get better with age.  We’re thrilled to welcome Governor Walker and actor and travel writer Andrew McCarthy as keynote speakers on Monday. That morning, we’ll also debut the 2017 summer and fall ad campaigns.

On Tuesday, Dr. Jennifer Golbeck will share valuable research on social media. Her powerful TED Talk about how people use social media has been viewed nearly two million times. That night, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will be going all out for the Governor's Gala and Awards Celebration, so join us in celebrating with black tie optional attire.

Rep Kuglitsch

Last week, the Wisconsin Department of Tourism converged on the State Capitol to hand deliver copies of the new 2017 Spring-Summer Events Guide and the Art & Craft Fairs Directory to all 132 representatives and senators. We used this visit as an opportunity to personally invite legislators to join their constituents at the Tourism Conference.

Keep reading for information on conference registration, sponsorship and marketplace opportunities.  We look forward to seeing you next month in Milwaukee!
