Power Play Turns Prize into Six-Digit Win
Powerball player wins $100K by choosing Power Play
MADISON, Wis. – A Wisconsin Lottery Powerball player had some additional luck by choosing the Power Play feature in last night's drawing.
The player bought their winning ticket at New Lisbon Travel Stop (1703 E. Bridge Street) in New Lisbon. The ticket matched 4 of 5 numbers plus the Powerball. Since the player also purchased the Power Play prize multiplier feature, the $50,000 prize was automatically multiplied by two; turning the $50,000 ticket into a $100,000 winner. The numbers drawn were 12, 21, 22, 29, 32, PB-21 and PP-2X.
The odds of winning the $50,000 Powerball prize is 1 in 913,130; the odds of winning the 2X Power Play are 1 in 1.8.
