Notable Lottery Payouts Over Holiday Weekend

Three winners claim prizes totaling $1.25 Million

 

MADISON, Wis. – Three lucky winners claimed notable prizes this past holiday weekend for tickets they purchased in southeastern Wisconsin.

 

Anthony Bishop of Waukesha bought his winning $1 Million Powerball ticket at Woodman's Food Market (1600 E. Main Street) in Waukesha, for the December 26, 2018 drawing. Bishop matched five-of-six winning numbers (5, 25, 38, 52, 67 and Powerball of 24).

 

Keith Lawson of Milwaukee claimed a $200,000 top prize for the Power Up Your Crossword instant scratch ticket he purchased at GP3 Petroleum (11131 W. Hampton Avenue) in Milwaukee. There is one top prize remaining in the game.

 

Laura McConkey of West Allis claimed a $50,000 top prize for the In the Zone Crossword instant scratch ticket. McConkey purchased the winning ticket at Paul's Wine & Liquor (4415 W. Loomis Road) in Greenfield. There are two remaining top prizes in the game.

 

Odds of matching all five numbers in Powerball, not including the Powerball, are 1 in 11,688,054; odds of winning the Power Up Your Crossword's top prize are 1 in 300,000; and odds of winning the In the Zone Crossword top prize are 1 in 720,000. 

 

Tonight's Powerball jackpot is at $325 Million. Powerball drawings occur Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day’s drawing. Visit wilottery.com for additional information.
