WI Bat Festival, October 3-5, 2014

In the October 2014 issue of WNR magazine, learn about the critical role bats play in keeping insect populations in balance and also how to build a home for them.

And, coming to Milwaukee October 3-5 is the Wisconsin Bat Festival. This is a family-friendly event where you can meet live bats from around the world – including a bat with a 6-foot wingspan! This science symposium features bat programs, children's activities, crafts and more.

Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine is published bimonthly in February, April, June, August, October and December by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The magazine is sustained through paid subscriptions. No tax money is used. Subscription rates are: $8.97 for one year, $15.97 for two years, $21.97 for three years.
