2013 Wild Rice Date-Regulated Lake Openings - Update #1
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources sent this bulletin at 08/28/2013 02:05 PM CDTAs of 08/28/13, a total of three date-regulated lake openings have been announced:
- Bear Lake in Barron County opens August 29, 2013
- Long Lake in Burnett County opens August 30, 2013
- Mud Hen Lake in Burnett County opens August 30, 2013
An additional 20 date-regulated lakes within the Ceded Territory will be closed for the season due to no rice or poor rice production.
