EIF May 1, 2026 Debt Service Payment Collection Cycle
The Environmental Improvement Fund (EIF) is preparing for the upcoming May 1, 2026, debt service payment collection cycle. Below are a few key reminders to help ensure a smooth and timely payment collection cycle.
Payment Due Date
The payment due date is Friday, May 1, 2026.
Invoices Sent
Semi-annual debt service invoices will be emailed by the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) on Thursday, March 12, 2026. If you do not receive your invoice, please email DOAEIF@wisconsin.gov to confirm or update your contact information.
Loan Payment Notice And Instructions
Please submit your Loan Payment Notice and Instruction form by Monday, April 13, 2026. Timely submission helps us track payments accurately and avoid delays.
Lead Service Line (LSL) Loans
Borrowers with outstanding LSL loans who wish to pay off their balance should request a payoff statement by emailing DOAEIF@wisconsin.gov.

2025 Financial Audit Reminder
This is a friendly reminder regarding your EIF loan agreement. As outlined in the agreement, audited financial statements must be submitted within 180 days of the end of each fiscal year. Since the municipal fiscal year ended on Dec. 31, 2025, the deadline to submit your 2025 audit to the EIF is June 30, 2026. Please email your audited financial statements to DOAEIF@wisconsin.gov.
