Lead Service Line Amendment To Safe Drinking Water Loan Program State Fiscal Year 2026 Intended Use Plan Open For Public Comment

You are invited to provide input on the draft lead service line (LSL) amendment to the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program State Fiscal Year 2026 Final Intended Use Plan through Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. Send comments to Casey Sweeney, DNR Clean Water Fund federal liaison and policy analyst, at Casey.Sweeney@wisconsin.gov.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released the LSL capitalization grant allocations for federal fiscal year 2025 and previous years’ reallotments on Nov. 25, 2025. The amendment updates the LSL funding allocations in the final intended use plan. The DNR is only accepting comments on the LSL amendments, which are summarized in the beginning of the intended use plan under the "Amendment 1 Summary" section.
