Draft Funding List Published For Safe Drinking Water Loan Program
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR)'s Environmental Loans Section published the state fiscal year 2026 Safe Drinking Water Loan Program draft funding list on the Project Lists and Intended Use Plans webpage on Nov. 18, 2025.
The draft funding list identifies all projects with a valid financial assistance application submittal, in priority score order, for the state fiscal year 2026 funding cycle. The draft funding list identifies each project’s subsidized loan interest rate, requested project costs, estimated loan amount and estimated principal forgiveness amount.
Applicants have until Dec. 7 to object to the priority evaluation and ranking formula (PERF) score determination. The DNR will post the final funding list once this date has passed and the DNR’s Bureau of Drinking Water and Groundwater has had a chance to review and make determinations on all submitted PERF score objections. The project priority score order is subject to change between the draft and final funding lists based on any successful PERF score objections that are received.
