Last Call For Summer Fun!
Celebrate With Us At Upcoming 125th Anniversary Bashes
School is back in session, days are getting shorter and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over, but there is still time to join in on one last summertime adventure! This September, join the Wisconsin State Park System to celebrate our 125th anniversary at many great events happening around the state!
Universal Recreation Day
Join the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for a celebration highlighting universally accessible outdoor recreation in Wisconsin State Park System properties! A wide range of activities will be available for visitors of all abilities, including outdoor recreation and sensory-focused experiences.
Adaptive equipment, including outdoor wheelchairs and adaptive kayaks, will be available for visitors and demonstrations. Some activities may have an additional cost. Food will be available for purchase at food trucks during the lunch period.

Accessibility:
- The main area for the event will be at the amphitheater, which has a crushed stone surface and is located near the parking lot on an accessible route of travel.
- Portions of the event around the amphitheater will be in maintained, grassy areas.
- A bathroom with accessible flush toilets and running water is available in the main area of the event.
- Hiking activities to be hosted on universal boardwalk trail.
- Fishing activities will take place at the accessible fishing pier at a different location on the property from main event.
Parking
- The parking lot is shared with the public, and parking availability is first-come, first-served.

Milwaukee Brewers Night
If you don’t already know it, the Brewers are on a major hot streak right now!
Please join us at American Family Field in Milwaukee as we celebrate Wisconsin’s incredible parks, nature centers and outdoor spaces. Enjoy discounted ticket pricing and special in-game recognition for the parks with this unique opportunity to give back! A portion of each ticket sold supports Wisconsin State Parks.
Come cheer on your Milwaukee Brewers against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday Sept. 12 and do some good at the same time! It’s a Wisconsin First Friday; tickets are half price for this game and $5 of every ticket purchased will be donated to the Wisconsin State Park System in honor of our 125th anniversary. The Wisconsin State Park System sees over 20 million visitors per year; this donation will be used to support customer-forward items, including replacement of picnic tables, fire rings, interpretive signs and grills.
Be sure to tell your family and friends and make an evening of it! Tickets can be purchased by online. Tickets are limited and are on sale until Sept. 5, 2025.

Interstate Park 125th Anniversary Celebration
Join us for a birthday bash as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Wisconsin State Park System’s oldest state park, Interstate Park!
Activities will include nature journaling, rock climbing, guided hiking, history presentations and more! Cake will be served during a special anniversary ceremony.
This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome to attend.
