The Wisconsin DNR’s Sustainability and Business Support Program (SBS) is excited to announce the launch of Enviro-Nav, the Environmental Responsibility Navigator. A user-friendly tool designed to help businesses understand their environmental obligations, Enviro-Nav includes information related to air permitting and compliance.
Enviro-Nav builds on the foundation of the former Permit Primer and was developed with input from regulatory programs across the agency. This free, online resource walks users through a series of questions about their business operations, whether they are starting up, expanding or checking compliance. Based on their responses, Enviro-Nav generates a customized summary of applicable environmental requirements, along with relevant guidance materials and DNR contact information.
Enviro-Nav includes specialized content for 18 common industry sectors, making it especially helpful for businesses in manufacturing, processing and other sectors that often have air permitting or reporting questions. The tool is available now, and the DNR welcomes your feedback to help continue improving Enviro-Nav.
