Funding List Published For Clean Water Fund Program
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR)'s Environmental Loans Section published the state fiscal year 2025 Clean Water Fund Program funding list on the Project Lists and Intended Use Plans webpage on Dec. 12, 2024.
The Clean Water Fund Program funding list identifies all projects with a valid financial assistance application submittal, in priority score order, for the state fiscal year 2025 funding cycle. The funding list identifies each project’s subsidized loan interest rate, requested project costs and allocated amounts of loan and principal forgiveness dollars.
For the first time in Clean Water Fund Program history, loan demand has exceeded capacity. Total Clean Water Fund Program demand in state fiscal year 2025 equaled more than $534 million. Due to recent spikes in demand for funding, the Clean Water Fund Program has exhausted available revenue bonding authority and is therefore unable to allocate funding to all applicants. Additional funding will be allocated to unfunded projects if it becomes available.
