Deer hunter forum for Walworth, Racine, Kenosha and Milwaukee counties |
MADISON – Wildlife biologists with the Department of Natural Resources invite all citizens interested in deer and deer management in Walworth, Racine, Kenosha and Milwaukee counties (deer management units 77B-CWD, 77C-CWD, 77M) to attend a deer hunter forum on March 27 at Richard Bong State Recreation Area Auditorium, 26313 Burlington Rd., Kansasville from 5:30 to 8 p.m. to discuss local deer management issues, hunting seasons, and any other deer topic.
Deer hunter forums will put the public in direct contact with the local biologist responsible for managing the local deer herd, and are intended to both share information about deer management and gather information from hunters about deer where they live, hunt or farm.
If unable to attend a live forum, for the first time this year the public will be able to get unit-specific information and contribute feedback through a survey on the DNR website. Check the DNR home page keyword “deer hunter forums”.
