Small Business Environmental Council Meeting May 6 at 1:00 PM

The next meeting of DNR’s Small Business Environmental Council will be held May 6 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM via Zoom.  Please contact DNR at DNRsmallbusiness@wisconsin.gov to RSVP and the Zoom link will be sent to you.  The agenda and past meeting documents are available on the Council’s webpage. 


Storm Water Basics for Printers on June 3

DNR staff will be presenting at a Webinar hosted by Great Lakes Graphics Association on June 3, 2021 at 1:00 CST. The webinar will give an overview of Wisconsin’s Storm Water Program. Topics will include Storm Water Permit applicability related to the printing industry, exclusions (No Exposure Certification) from storm water permitting, requirements to maintain No Exposure Certification (NEC), an overview of the Tier 2 Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) General Permit for those who do not qualify for NEC, and typical sources of exposure unique to the printing industry.

Participants will be introduced to Wisconsin’s Storm Water Program. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for questions. The webinar will provide information on:

  • Wisconsin’s regulatory authority and framework for permitting
  • An introduction of the ePermitting System
  • An overview of the No Exposure Certification
  • An overview of the Tier 2 Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) General Permit
