DNR’s Statewide Asbestos Coordinator retires

Mark Davis, DNR Statewide Asbestos Program Coordinator, retired from the department on February after spending 18 years with the Air Program. Prior to working at DNR Mark worked with the Akron Regional Air Quality Management District in Ohio, and for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 10 in Idaho.

Mark Chamberlain will now serve as the primary contact for asbestos related matters. 

Congratulations on your retirement, Mark, and thank you for your years of service!


John Stoffel, Air Program Engineer, retires

John Stoffel, Air Program engineer is retiring from the department after serving 31 years. His last day in the Baldwin Service Center office will be March 6.

When asked what is next for John and how he will fill his time in retirement, John responded, “I’m going to enjoy just being Grandpa.”  Congratulations John!  Thank you for your 31 years of service to the state!

Susan Lindem will be primary contact for industrial sand related questions for the Air Program.
