Weather

Light to moderate rainfall has moved through southern Wisconsin today with estimates of 0.10" to 0.50" falling so far.  This has helped to push the more concerning air mass further south into Iowa and Illinois.  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has just been issued for the far southern row of counties in Wisconsin including: Lafayette, Green, Rock, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties.

The southern portion of Wisconsin still has the threat for flash flooding this evening into the overnight hours.  At least an inch of rainfall is expected along the WI/IL border with up to 3" possible.  Some locally higher rainfall amounts is possible, but not looking as likely with the stronger storms focusing further south.  The main severe threat (besides flooding) is from damaging winds and possibly hail.
