Opioid settlement funds survey open until September 30
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking your input for how to invest future opioid settlement funds.
Wisconsin expects to receive more than $874 million in total funding from 2022 through 2038 as a result of litigation against the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2023, DHS has invested over $86 million in opioid settlement funding for life-saving strategies. Next year, we anticipate receiving $11.6 million as part of the state’s share to distribute in statewide and local efforts.
We value your input to help us understand where you are seeing the greatest need in your community to address opioid misuse.
The survey is available until September 30.
