Assisted Living Applications - Live Q & A Session, May 27, 2026
As part of the Division’s commitment to Teach, Learn and Collaborate, the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) launched an online system, the DHS DQA Provider Portal, for licensure/certification, background checks, applications, renewals, and certification amendments in December 2025.
Please join DQA staff on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. for an overview of the DHS DQA Provider Portal and how to complete the assisted living licensing application process in the portal for 3-4 bed Adult Family Homes (AFHs), Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) and Resident Care Apartment Complexes (RCACs). Assisted living providers, prospective providers or applicants are encouraged to attend the Assisted Living Applications Live Q & A Session.
This session for assisted living providers will include:
- An overview of how to access and navigate the portal
- How to complete assisted living applications through the portal
- General questions regarding your application and the portal
