Call for Applications - Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training

Mental Health America of Wisconsin, with support through a grant from the Division of Care and Treatment Services, is accepting applications for the 2026 Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training. This is a training for organizations that wish to implement the Zero Suicide quality improvement framework. It is not suicide care training for individuals.

This year's Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training is scheduled to take place live online using Zoom July 28-30, 2026. Applications must be submitted to Mental Health America of Wisconsin by April 20, 2026.

Visit the Prevent Suicide Wisconsin website for more information.

Email questions or concerns about this training and the application process to Kelsey Van Hoorn (kelsey@mhawisconsin.org), Mental Health America of Wisconsin's Zero Suicide program coordinator.

Tier 2 of Wisconsin's Suicide Prevention Plan: Strategies for Action and Hope is prevention and intervention across the continuum of care. It includes a goal to promote the systematic Zero Suicide approach, rooted in the understanding that suicide can be prevented in people receiving care in health and behavioral health systems.
