Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium Resources
As part of our ongoing commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) and Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Madison, held a Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium on January 21, 2026.
Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium
Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium (PALS), sponsored by the Wisconsin Coalition for Collaborative Excellence in Assisted Living (WCCEAL), brought together assisted living providers, partners, and advocates from across Wisconsin to advance quality through collaboration and shared learning. Participants engaged in a day focused on enhancing quality of care and quality of life in assisted living communities (ALCs).
Thank you to everyone who participated in the January 21 PALS. Meeting materials, recordings, and resources from the PALS are accessible here.
About WCCEAL
WCCEAL is a group of dedicated people organized to improve the outcomes of individuals living in ALCs. In 2009, WCCEAL was formed to redesign the way quality is ensured for individuals residing in ALCs. This public/private coalition utilizes a collective impact model approach that brings together the state, industry, consumers, and academia to identify and implement agreed upon approaches designed to improve the outcomes of individuals living in Wisconsin ALCs.
How to Join WCCEAL
Please visit our WCCEAL Membership page for more information. Membership in WCCEAL is free, ALCs interested in joining must first be part of a WCCEAL sponsor approved quality improvement program. ALCs should contact their provider association for further information and assistance with joining WCCEAL.
