Register Now for March & April 2026 Workshops

As part of our ongoing commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Engagement & Training (UWO CCDET), is pleased to share the March & April virtual workshops available through the Wisconsin Caregiver Training Project.

These sessions are designed to provide practical guidance and regulatory clarity for administrators, supervisors, HR professionals, and others responsible for caregiver oversight and compliance in regulated healthcare settings.

March 2026:

  • March 195 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks: Completing Checks & Evaluating Results
  • March 24Investigating and Reporting Requirements for Federally Certified Providers (This is the only opportunity to attend this workshop this Spring!)

April 2026:

  • April 8Investigating and Reporting Allegations of Misconduct: Meeting State Regulations
  • April 9Rules of the Road: Compliance Pathways for New & Existing Providers
  • April 14Setting Your Training Course: Navigating the Regulations
  • April 285 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks: Completing Checks & Evaluating Results

Each workshop is delivered virtually and includes opportunities for real-time questions and discussion to help participants apply regulatory requirements in their day-to-day operations.

Registration closes seven calendar days before each session. Early enrollment is encouraged to help ensure workshops proceed as scheduled. In the event of low enrollment, registrants will be notified and offered an opportunity to attend a future session, if available.
