Registration Now Open for the Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium
As part of our ongoing commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) and Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Madison, is hosting a Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium.
Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium
Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium (PALS), sponsored by the Wisconsin Coalition for Collaborative Excellence in Assisted Living (WCCEAL), will bring together assisted living providers, partners, and advocates from across Wisconsin to advance quality through collaboration and shared learning. Participants will engage in a day focused on enhancing quality of care and quality of life in assisted living communities.
- The symposium will be held virtually on January 21, 2026, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Registration is free. Please visit here to register.
Registration is open to all staff working in Wisconsin Assisted Living Communities (ALCs) who are interested in learning more about and improving the quality of life for their residents. Participants are welcome to register, whether your ALC is already participating in WCCEAL or not, and it is a great opportunity to network virtually and learn more. The symposium is also open to advocates, provider associations, researchers, state government agencies, and industry staff working in assisted living, as well as national assisted living partners.
Visit our Partnering in Assisted Living Symposium webpage for full details and registration information.
About WCCEAL
WCCEAL is a group of dedicated people organized to improve the outcomes of individuals living in ALCs. In 2009, WCCEAL was formed to redesign the way quality is ensured for individuals residing in ALCs. This public/private coalition utilizes a collective impact model approach that brings together the state, industry, consumers, and academia to identify and implement agreed upon approaches designed to improve the outcomes of individuals living in Wisconsin ALCs.
How to Join WCCEAL
Please visit our WCCEAL Membership page for more information. Membership in WCCEAL is free, ALCs interested in joining must first be part of a WCCEAL sponsor approved quality improvement program. ALCs should contact their provider association for further information and assistance with joining WCCEAL.
