Caregiver Training Project Wraps Up the Fall Workshop Series

As part of our commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), in partnership with the UW Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Engagement and Training (UWO CCDET), is concluding the Fall Workshop Series with two events in early December.

Visit our Events page for details and registration. Please note that registration closes seven calendar days before each workshop.

  • December 2 – Ready, Set, Train – Caregiver Continuing Education: Access over 40 hours of ready-to-use training materials for your staff.
  • December 9 – Investigating & Reporting Requirements for Federally Certified Providers: Ensure compliance with federal regulations for investigating and reporting mistreatment in nursing homes, ICFs/IID, and swing bed hospitals.

For more information, visit the Wisconsin Caregiver Training Project.

Come See Us at the 25th Annual FOCUS Conference

UWO CCDET staff are excited to join our partners from the DHS Division of Quality Assurance at the 25th Annual FOCUS Conference, held at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay on November 19–20, 2025.

Stop by Exhibit Booth #9 to learn more about our work and connect with our team. We’ll also be hosting two important breakout sessions focused on investigating and reporting requirements for healthcare providers. We hope to see you there!
