- Privacy and confidentiality
- Dignity of risk

What is the CDCP program?
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and our academic partner, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, created the CDCP program to address the state’s caregiver shortage. This is a free, online, self-paced curriculum that prepares people for a career in caregiving by training them in 14 essential skills that employers accept throughout the health care industry.
In about 30 hours, candidates can earn their CDCP credentials and they become eligible for bonuses up to $500. This is the first step on a career path that offers future opportunities and growth.
